Talking Circle: Blessing of marriages between two people of the same gender
3 May 2022 @ 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
What is the future church you dream about?
If we are to share our thoughts and grow in understanding of one another we need to talk and we need to listen.
You are invited to a talking circle to dialogue the implications of two 2020 Appellate Tribunal determinations and opinions regarding the blessing of marriages between two people of the same gender. These events are happening across the diocese, but the one in our Deanery is on Tuesday 3 May, commencing at 12 noon at Holy Spirit Anglican Church
1036 Moggill Road, Kenmore.
You can find more information about the talking circles events, and the format and question in this link to the Anglican Focus article.
Please consider joining this circle or others (as advertised in the article). It is only as we all join the conversation that we will together help to shape the church we are becoming.
Registering is essential. Please contact Sue or the parish office to advise of your attendance and we will RSVP together to Kenmore.
