Said Eucharist with Prayers for Healing
4 December @ 9:30 am – 10:15 am
Attend in person. The Wednesday communion service has historically been known at St Andrew’s as the Healing Eucharist. Often while we recognise that Jesus’ ministry was one of teaching and healing, we are not always as comfortable in seeing healing as part of the ministry of the church today. Yet our faith is a living faith, empowered by the risen Christ who works amongst and within us, bringing healing and peace and reminding us that we are never alone. At any Wednesday Eucharist, the opportunity for particular prayer, including anointing and laying on of hands, is offered during or after the service. All are welcome – simply talk to Rev’d Sue before the service or ask for prayer at the communion rail or after the service.
