Good measure, pressed down and overflowing

6 October @ 3:00 pm4:00 pm

A talk offered by Rowan Williams on how contemplation shapes our action.

The history of the Church in the last century shows us several figures who combine a profound contemplative practice with active involvement in the service of the vulnerable. In this short lecture which we will watch online, Rowan Williams begins to consider looks the example and teaching of some of these figures, asking the question of how our own practice affects our daily choices and our approach to a chaotic world. There will be time for conversation afterwards.
