Common Spirit: Nora Amath speaks about her Muslim faith

Dr Nora Amath joins us to speak about her Muslim faith and share some of the story of her work in interfaith settings.
Dr Nora Amath is an Adjunct Research Fellow at Griffith University, a member of the Minister’s Australian Multicultural Advisory Council and an Australian Fellow at the Centre for Women, Faith and Leadership at the Institute for Global Engagement in Washington DC. Nora is a respected academic and an active Muslim, interfaith leader, and human rights advocate, recognised for her extensive contributions with an Australian Muslim Woman of the year award in 2006. She is also a 2-time recipient of the Australia Day Community Awards and a recipient of the Queensland Day’s Award 2023. In 2017, she was a finalist in the Australian of the Year Awards.
