Book launch: Super Boosted

Gen Rees Carter has written a cookbook called “Super Boosted – 70 delicious plant based snack recipes packed full of the nutrients your kids need”.
As a nutritionist, Gen has specifically developed these recipes to be packed full of the essential nutrients, iron, zinc, calcium and protein. They are also simple and easy to make, with a full freezing guide, so that even the busiest of parents can have healthy homemade snacks on hand. From protein balls, to muffins, and even frozen desserts, these recipes are 100% plant based and vegan, and are a great way to dip your toe into meat and dairy free cooking, to lower your carbon footprint and be more sustainable in your cooking.
The recipe book launch includes a cooking demonstration by Gen and the chance to sample some of the healthy snacks. If you would be willing to make one or two of these – a simple dip for instance – to serve after the launch please talk to Gen or Rev’d Sue.
