Becoming Real: A Lenten Quiet afternoon for Youth
17 March @ 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm
You become. It takes a long time.
Once you become Real you can’t become unreal again. It lasts for always.
Drawing on the timeless (and ageless) story of The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams, this afternoon will provide activities and reflections that explore what it means to be real- and what that has to do with the story of Jesus’ journey to the cross and the empty tomb.
This is an afternoon for all ages from 4- 16 years as we explore the story and share a liturgy to prepare our hearts for Holy Week and consider what it means to be a person of faith today.
