All Souls Service
This is a special service to hold a space for and remember all those you have loved who have died. There will be an opportunity to add names to the list to be read out during this non-eucharistic service of prayers, poetry, music, silence and the lighting of candles. This service is designed to be a sacred space that is accessible to all, regardless of church experience, so please invite any whom you feel may benefit from a beautiful liturgy to remember those they have loved.
If there are persons you want to be remembered during this service there is a list at the back of the church or you can email their names to the secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Sunday 8 November at 5:30 pm in the church
"Sent”: A book launch with author and guest speaker Dr John Chenoweth
John and Wendy Chenoweth are well known to many as familiar faces in our congregation, but not everyone will know that John is one of the authors of a new book called “Sent” which has just been released. “Sent” is a collection of stories describing the experiences of children of missionary parents who were sent to boarding school from the age of five. The stories are extraordinarily moving reflections on what it meant to be sent away and how these children, decades on, are making sense of the experience and the power of parents’ deep convictions to shape the lives of their children.
You can find more details about the stories here: https://sent-stories.com/
Please join us to hear the stories and gather for wine and nibbles afterwards with John and Wendy. Books will be available for sale and signing.
Free to attend. $10 for wine and nibbles.

Ordination of Rev'd Ann as Priest
Due to Covid-19 restrictions numbers will be limited at the ordination, but the event will be live-streamed, so our community will still be able to share in the excitement of the day.
Please pray for Ann as she approaches her ordination as priest.
We would also like to give Ann a gift from the parish in celebration and gratitude for her ministry amongst us. If you would like to contribute to this gift, please transfer funds to our parish account and reference the deposit “Ann’s gift”, or place a cash offering in a marked envelope in the offering plate at the entrance to the church.
