Sung Eucharist and Visit by Aunty Sandra King, Diocesan Reconciliation Action Plan Coordinator

12 February 2023 @ 9:30 am10:45 pm

Bread and Wine Window

On 13 February 2008 Prime Minister Kevin Rudd made a formal apology to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, particularly to the Stolen Generations whose lives had been blighted by past government policies of forced child removal and assimilation.

On Sunday the 12th of February, 15 years on, we are privileged to be hearing from Aunty Sandra King who will be interviewed at the 9:30am service and then later after the service will share the incredible and moving story of her own family and the impact of these policies. This is one not to be missed.
